This  stud  was  founded  in  1921  by  F.G.  Davidson  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  100  ewes  from  EURAMBEEN,  Vic,  F.  No.  236.  In  the  previous  year,  F.G.  Davidson,  in  conjunction  with  S.J.  Davidson,  purchased  the  whole  of  the  ewe  lamb  drop  from  Wandock  Station,  Deniliquin.  Of  these,  60  ewes  were  selected  by  F.G.  Davidson  and  taken  into  the  YARRAN  flock.  From  1921  to  1956,  only  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  rams  were  used.  The  stud  was  transferred  to  H.S.  Davidson  and  Sons,  the  partners  being  H.S.,  A.M.,  N.S.,  F.M.  and  P.A.  Davidson  and  D.G.  Tackeray.  In  1978,  the  stud  was  divided  and  half  the  sheep  and  stud  name  was  taken  over  by  Michael  Davidson  Trading  Company.  Resigned  as  at  November  2001.
