This  stud  was  founded  in  1899  by  Beggs  Bros.  at  'Swanwater',  Donald,  Vic.  when  a  draft  of  ewes  and  rams  was  transferred  from  EURAMBEEN,  F.  No.  236.  In  1909,  'Swanwater',  Donald,  Vic.  was  sold  and  the  stud  transferred  to  NAREEB  NAREEB,  Glenthompson,  Vic.  Following  the  death  of  H.N.  Beggs  in  1943,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors.  After  a  disastrous  fire  in  1940,  cast-for-age  ewes  were  purchased  back  from  F.E.  Lobb,  'Kout  Norein',  Harrow,  Vic.  Ewes  were  also  purchased  from  EURAMBEEN,  F.  No.  236,  and  BULN  GHERIN,  F.  No.  1689.  In  1994,  the  trading  name  was  changed  to  Nareeb  Nareeb  Partnership.  In  July  2003,  due  to  the  withdrawal  of  an  absentee  partner,  a  new  partnership  has  been  established  under  the  name  of  Hugh  S.  &  Richard  H.  Beggs  and  Hugh  Beggs  Family  Trust  with  the  stud  continuing  to  trade  under  the  Nareeb  Nareeb  Partnership.  In  2014  21  ram  lambs,  276  ewes  and100  ewe  lambs  were  purchased  at  the  BARTON  (Tas)  dispersal  sale  and  integrated  in  with  NAREEB  NAREEB.
