This  stud  was  reconstructed  during  1936  by  the  transfer  of  8  rams  and  510  ewes  from  MUNGADAL  NO.  1,  F.  No.  15,  and  55  rams  and  3260  ewes  from  MUNGADAL  No.  2,  F.  No.  230,  as  a  result  of  which,  both  Mungadal  No.  1  and  Mungadal  No.  2,  studs  were  dispersed.  The  Mungadal  No.  1  stud  (formerly  known  as  the  Bywong  stud)  was  founded  by  A.  Hordern  in  1921  at  Gundaroo,  NSW,  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  300  ewes  from  BOONOKE,  NSW,  F.  No.  7.  Purchases  were  later  made  from  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  viz;  1922,  24  rams  and  2000  ewes;  1924,  1  ram;  1926,  13  rams  and  51  ewes;  1933,  1  ram.  On  the  sale  of  the  Bywong  property  in  April  1923,  the  stud  was  transferred  to  Mungadal,  Hay,  NSW,  and  thereafter  became  known  as  Mungadal  No.  1  stud.  The  Mungadal  No.  2  stud  was  founded  in  1865  by  C.W.  Simson  with  approximately  2000  ewes  selected  from  about  15,000  Mungadal  flock  ewes  which  were  of  Currie,  Larra  (see  reference  flock)  blood.  The  following  were  later  acquired:  rams  from  L.  Learmonth,  ERCILDOUNE,  Burrmbeet,  Vic.  (used  for  many  years);  1886,  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  2  rams;  1896,  BELLE  VUE  (see  reference  flock),  4  rams;  1898,  BELLE  VUE  (see  reference  flock),  4  ewes;  1912,  MURGHA,  F.  No.  437,  1  ram;  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  1  ram;  1924,  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  66  rams;  MUNGADAL  No.  1,  F.  No.  15,  1  ram;  1925,  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  5  rams;  MUNGADAL  No.  1,  F.  No.  15,  1  ram;  1928,  MUNGADAL  No.  1,  F.  No.  15,  920  ewes.  In  November  1923,  the  stud  (MUNGADAL  No.  2)  was  acquired  by  A.  Hordern  from  the  executors  of  the  Estate  of  C.W.  Simson,  Mungadal,  Hay,  NSW.  On  23rd  January  1964,  the  Naroo  Pastoral  Co  Pty  Ltd  purchased  the  property  and  all  the  sheep  with  the  exception  of  those  in  MUNGADAL,  Poll  F.  No.  5,  which  was  retained  by  A.  Hordern,  the  name  being  changed  to  Ulladulla.  The  new  company  carried  on  the  registration  of  MUNGADAL,  F.  No.  15.  In  January  1979,  the  entire  stud  and  property  was  taken  over  by  Twynam  Pastoral  Company.  In  August  2010,  the  property  and  stud,  consisting  of  377  rams,  2476  ewes,  679  ram  lambs  &  708  ewe  lambs  were  purchased  by  Paraway  Pastoral  Company  Ltd,  owners  of  POOGINOOK,  F.  No.  788.  This  stud  was  resigend  in  December  2017.
