History
This  stud  was  founded  in  November,  1980,  by  H.I.  Rogers  and  Son  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  36  ewes  from  POLLVILLE,  Poll  F.  No.  488,  and  1  ram  (bred  by  OLD  COBRAN,  Poll  F.  No.  32)  from  LYNDALE  PARK,  F.  No.  2901.  On  the  death  of  H.I.  Rogers  in  December  2003,  his  son  Peter  took  over  the  stud  with  the  family,  trading  as  Rogers  Partnership.

Mount Yulong was founded in 1980. It is very exciting to see the Poll Merino genetics expanding in the last few years and a genuine shift to the Poll Merino sheep for their dual purpose attributes. Being in Poll Merinos for such a long time, gives us the advantage, allowing clients to purchase genuine Poll genetics, with decades of breeding. The objectives of the Stud is to concentrate on profit drivers, with emphasis on: -Fertility -Survivability -Carcase -Growth Rates -Wool Cut -Quality The Rams we are producing have large frames, concentrating on depth and width.
