This  stud  was  founded  in  1862  by  W.  Timms  with  ERCILDOUNE,  Burrumbeet,  Vic.,  and  LARRA  (see  Reference  Flock)  blood.  Following  the  purchase  of  the  property  and  stud  in  1882,  J.L.  Kininmonth  obtained  rams  from  ERCILDOUNE,  Burrumbeet,  Vic,  and  also  from  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703.  Later  rams  were  purchased  from  CARNGHAM,  F.  No.  1281.  On  the  death  of  J.L.  Kininmonth  in  1896,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors.  The  stud  continued  to  be  administered  by  his  estate  until  July  2002  when  the  ownership  was  transferred  to  Erwo  Australia  Pty  Ltd.  No  rams  were  bred  in  the  2007  season  and  with  reluctance  this  old  established  stud  was  resigned  in  January  2008.
