This  stud  was  founded  in  1977  by  N.S.  and  A.M.  Davidson  following  the  dissolution  of  the  partnership  in  1977  of  H.S.  Davidson  and  Sons.  The  stud  was  evenly  divided  between  N.S.  and  A.M.  Davidson  and  Michael  Davidson  Trading  Co,  which  continued  under  the  name  of  NEEDLEWOOD,  F.  No.3045.  The  latter  stud  had  been  founded  in  1921  by  F.G.  Davidson  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  100  ewes  from  EURAMBEEN,  Vic,  F.  No.  236.  In  the  previous  year,  60  ewes  were  selected  from  the  whole  ewe  lamb  drop  from  Wandook  Station,  Deniliquin.  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  were  used  since  1921  and  WONGA,  F.  No.  794,  rams  were  purchased  in  1962,  1965  and  1966.  Resigned  November  2000.
