History
This  Stud  was  founded  in  August,  1957,  by  A.J.  McRae  by  the  purchase  of  3  rams  and  140  ewes  from  BUNDEMAR,  NSW,  F.  No.  12,  and  3  rams  from  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.  11.  In  1960,  A.J.  McRae  took  his  wife,  Mrs.  I.E.  McRae,  into  partnership.  The  BANKSIDE  bloodline  has  been  removed  from  the  LUCERNE  VALE  stud.  After  the  death  of  Alfred  McRae  in  October  2002,  his  son  Chris  took  over  the  running  of  the  stud,  trading  as  C.J.  McRae.  Resigned  December  2004.
