This  stud  was  founded  at  Walgett  in  1896  by  T.M.  Marshall  when  200  ewes  were  purchased  from  Mr.  Firebrace  of  Mercadool  Station.  This  flock  used  mainly  rams  from  WANGANELLA,  NSW,  F.  No.  83.  The  same  year  a  ram  was  obtained  from  J.S.  Horsfall  of  Widgiewa  Station,  NSW.  In  1915,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  J.C.  Marshall  who  in  1940  handed  it  over  to  his  son,  J.W.  Marshall.  In  1977,  J.W.  Marshall  transferred  the  stud  to  his  son,  J.B.  Marshall.  Resigned  as  at  March  2001.
