History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1944  by  the  Lansdowne  Pastoral  Co  Pty  Ltd  when  50  ewes  selected  from  LANSDOWNE,  F.  No.  474,  were  joined  with  a  Sport  ram.  From  time  to  time  ewes  were  selected  from  LANSDOWNE,  F.  No  474.  After  1961,  the  company  became  a  public  company  trading  as  Lansdowne  Pastoral  Co  Ltd.  In  September  2001,  the  entire  TERRICK  TERRICK  POLL  (formerly  GOWAN  POLL)stud  was  purchased.
