This  stud  was  founded  in  1902  when  the  CARNGHAM  stud,  owned  by  James  Russell,  was  equally  divided  between  Philip  and  George  Russell,  the  latter  taking  his  share  to  LANGI  WILLI.  Prior  to  1914,  the  only  introductions  made  were  1  ram  from  EURAMBEEN,  F.  No.  236,  and  3  rams  from  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703.  Following  the  death  of  George  Russell  in  May  1914,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors.  From  1914  till  1950,  51  CARNGHAM,  F.  No.  1281,  rams  were  introduced.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  December  2019.
