History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1952  by  E.H.  Armstrong  by  the  selection  of  50  ewes  from  a  flock  of  400  which  were  bred  from  ewes  obtained  in  1926  from  T.  Armstrong,  'Avona',  Boorowa,  NSW.  These  ewes  were  mated  with  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  rams.  In  1969,  E.H.  Armstrong  took  his  son,  R.T.  Armstrong,  into  partnership.  On  the  death  of  E.H.  Armstrong,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  R.T.  &  J.M.  Armstrong  Partnership.  On  the  4/2/1991,  the  stud  name  was  changed  from  BROOKLYN  to  KIAH.  Following  the  death  of  Robert  Thomas  Armstrong  in  December  1999  the  stud  is  being  run  by  June  Marion  Armstrong  &  son,  Craig  Armstrong.
