This  stud  was  founded  in  1981  by  McIntyre  and  Archer  by  the  transfer  of  the  polled  portion  of  KARMALA  EAST,  F.  No.  3001,  which  had  been  run  seperately  since  1969  when  it  comprised  1  ram  and  50  ewes.  Since  1969,  rams  have  been  introduced  from  KOORINGA,  Poll  F.  No.  46,  MOUNT  BUTE,  Poll  F.  No.  411,  POLLVILLE,  Poll  F.  No.  488,  OLD  COBRAN,  Poll  F.  No.  22,  and  OLD  ASHROSE,  Poll  F.  No.  674.  In  1990,  the  trading  name  was  changed  to  Karmala  Partnership.  In  April  2002,  the  stud  was  relocated  from  Willaura,  Victoria  to  Nobby,  Queensland.  Resigned  September  2003.
