This  stud  was  founded  in  October,  1959,  by  G.J.  Speirs  by  the  purchase  of  133  in-lamb  ewes  from  WONGA,  NSW,  F.  No.  794.  In  August  1959,  2  rams  purchased  from  WONGA  were  added  to  the  stud.  In  1962,  G.J.  Speirs  took  his  family  into  partnership  which  traded  as  G.J.  Speirs  and  Co.  In  January  1972,  the  stud  was  sold  to  P.H.  and  G.  Speirs.  G.J.  Speirs'  brother,  R.H.  Speirs,  is  a  member  of  the  partnership.  Resigned  as  at  March  2001.
