This  stud  was  founded  in  1898  by  J.  Chirnside  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram  and  50  ewes  from  James  Gibson,  BELLE  VUE,  Epping,  Tas.  (see  Reference  Flock).  Further  rams  were  purchased  from  the  same  stud  in  1900  and  1902,  whilst  2  rams  were  purchased  in  1905  from  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7.  Prior  to  1951,  other  rams  used  were  obtained  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84,  BOONOKE,  F.  No.  7,  ESHCOL,  F.  No.  568,  WONGA,  F.  No.  794,  POOGINOOK,  F.  No.  788,  and  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  whilst  50  ewes  were  obtained  from  POOGINOOK,  F.  No.  788,  in  1945.  Following  the  death  of  Mr.  James  Chirnside,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  his  son,  K.  Chirnside,  and  later  transferred  to  the  latter's  son-in-law,  J.  Haslingden,  who  formed  a  partnership  comprising  of  himself,  H.M.L.,  I.R.  and  C.A.  Haslingden.  The  stud  was  taken  over  by  J.  and  H.  Haslingden,  trading  as  Inglewood  Estate  in  1974.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  December  2018.
