This  stud  was  founded  in  1911  at  Greenfields,  Yass  River,  NSW,  by  A.  Armour  by  the  purchase  of  a  ram  from  BENGEO,  F.  No.  132,  and  a  selection  of  ewes  which  were  of  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  blood.  In  1921,  the  stud  was  transferred  to  'Homewood',  Dalton,  NSW.  Following  the  death  of  A.  Armour  in  April  1936,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors  until  1950  when  it  was  acquired  by  M.L.  Armour.  In  1975,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  a  family  partnership  trading  as  M.L.  Armour  and  Company.
