History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1910  when  Picker  Bros.  purchased  COLLAROY  blood  ewes  (see  Reference  Flock)  from  G.D.  Hay,  GOONOONGLA,  Bigga,  NSW.  Rams  were  purchased  over  a  period  of  about  15  years  from  W.  Gibson  and  Son,  Scone,  Tas.  (see  Reference  Flock).  In  1925,  S.F.  Picker  acquired  portion  of  the  flock  from  his  father  and  from  then  until  1950  only  MERRYVILLE,  F.  No.  56,  rams  were  introduced.  In  1963,  T.  Picker  was  taken  into  partnership.  Following  the  death  of  S.F.  Picker  in  1972,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  Trevor  Picker.  The  stud  now  trades  as  Hillcreston  &  Co.  with  Trevor,  Murray,  Grant  and  Brett  Picker  being  partners.
