History
This  stud  was  founded  by  John  Hicks  in  1919  by  the  purchase  of  100  ewes  from  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  Vic,  F.  No.  1703,  and  a  ram  bred  by  BUNDEMAR,  NSW,  F.  No.  11.  In  1925,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  R.J.  Hicks.  On  the  death  of  R.J.  Hicks  in  December  1970,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  his  estate.  In  1994,  a  partnership  was  formed  trading  as  Hannaton  Partnership.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  July  2022.
