This  stud  was  founded  as  a  group  breeding  scheme  in  1975  when  the  company  purchased  333  of  the  top  fleece  weight  ewes  from  7000  classed  maidens  shorn  on  the  10  group  members'  properties.  In  1976,  the  above  ewes  were  joined  to  3  rams  purchased  from  MOGILA,  F.  No.  60.  In  1977,  a  further  3  rams  were  purchased  from  the  same  stud  and  since  this  time  no  outside  rams  have  been  used.  From  1975  to  1995  half  the  replacement  ewes  were  contributed  from  member's  flocks.  From  1996  onwards,  the  stud  flock  has  bred  all  its  own  replacement  ewes.
