History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1926  by  the  purchase  of  80  ewes  from  the  late  Donald  Macdonald,  'Strathconon',  Elmhurst,  Vic.  These  ewes  were  mated  with  a  STRATHCONON  ram  and  the  ewes  from  the  mating  were  joined  with  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703,  rams  from  which  studs  were  periodically  purchased.  The  STRATHCONON  stud  was  founded  on  BARUNAH  PLAINS,  F.  No.  1703,  and  EURAMBEEN,  F.  No.  236,  blood  many  years  ago  by  the  late  Donald  Macdonald.  In  1965,  J.H.  Keith  withdrew  from  the  partnership  and  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  sons,  J.D.  and  H.J.  Keith.  In  1982,  the  partnership  was  changed  to  D.A.  &  J.D.  Keith  and  in  2000,  it  was  changed  to  Keith  Partnership.  Resigned  December  2015.
