This  stud  was  founded  in  June,  1955,  by  A.  and  F.  Longmire,  trading  as  Longmire  Bros,  by  the  purchase  of  2  rams  and  119  ewes  from  WONGA,  F.  No.  794.  The  stud  was  inherited  by  Robert  A  Longmire  in  1981.  This  stud  was  resigned  in  December  2016.
