History
This  stud  was  founded  in  March,  1986,  by  A.  McL.  Mackinnon  and  Sons  by  the  purchase  of  25  ewes  from  BEAUFRONT,  F.  No.  4141.
In  July  2016,  this  stud  was  purchased  by  Mr  George  Gatenby  T/as  "Bicton  Pty  Ltd"  with  the  purchase  of  21  rams,  80  ewes,  43  ram  lambs  and  54  ewe  lambs  from  Glen  Esk  Merino  Stud  Flk  no.  4135.  The  remaining  flock  was  sold  off  for  commercial  use  or  slaughter  by  the  previous  owners  estate.  Approval  for  Mr  Gatenby  to  maintain  the  Glen  Esk  Stud  name  and  Flk  no.  was  given  in  writing  by  the  previous  owner's  estate.
