History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1988  by  Doug  Dockery  and  Garry  Hudson,  trading  as  Jerringomar  Merino  Stud,  by  the  purchase  of  9  rams  and  99  ewes  from  UARDRY,  F.  No.  79.  In  July,  1998  the  ownership  changed  to  Garry,  Helen,  Beverly  and  John  Hudson  with  the  name  changing  from  JERRINGOMAR  to  FERNELLA.  In  June  2006,  ownership  of  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  Garry  &  Helen  Hudson,  trading  as  G.F.  &  H.M.  Hudson.  In  August  2012,  the  stud,  consisting  of  2  rams  and  100  ewes  was  purchased  by  Richard  and  Debbie  Chalker,  trading  as  R.T.  &  D.M.  Chalker.  In  January  2013,  the  stud  name  changed  from  FERNELLA  to  LACH  RIVER.
