This  stud  was  founded  in  February,  1954,  by  H.A.  Boardman,  L.M.  &  J.D.  Stray,  trading  as  Boardman  and  Stray,  by  the  purchase  of  1  ram,  17  ewes  from  MORANGHURK  dispersal  sale  and  1  ram  ,  69  ewes  from  WURROOK,  F.  No.  2250.  In  1990,  P.D.  Stray  purchased  the  share  of  H.A.  Boardman.  The  partnership  still  trades  as  Boardman  and  Stray.  Resigned  September  2010.
