This  stud  was  founded  in  January,  1982,  by  R.J.D.  &  M.A.  Hunt  by  the  purchase  of  4  rams  from  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  and  249  ewes  from  WOODVALE,  F.  No.  2706.  Over  the  last  three  years,  123  ewes  were  bred  by  this  stud,  added  to  the  flock  and  approved  by  official  inspection.  P.H.,  D.L.,  P.K  and  C.W.  Ritter  purchased  DUNUMBRAL  stud  from  R.J.D.  and  M.A.  Hunt  in  July  1989,  comprising  of  655  ewes  in-lamb  to  DUNUMBRAL  and  HADDON  RIG  sires.  The  stud  was  dispersed  in  2005  and  resigned  in  January  2006  with  the  stud  name  being  transferred  to  owner's  other  stud,  Tuloran.  Therefore,  in  order  to  avoid  confusion  over  names,  at  the  time  of  resignation,  the  name  of  this  stud  was  changed  from  Dunumbral  to  Dunumbral  No  2.  Resigned  January  2006.
