This  stud  was  founded  in  1954  by  G.L.  Fulloon  and  his  wife,  Mrs.  E.E.A.  Fulloon,  by  the  selection  of  50  ewes  from  the  CRESSBROOK  flock.  These  ewes  were  mated  with  rams  purchased  from  MERRYVILLE,  NSW,  F.  No.  56.  The  flock  was  founded  many  years  ago  with  KENTUCKY,  F.  No.  50,  blood  sheep.  Only  MERRYVILLE,  F.  No.  56,  rams  have  been  used  since  about  1937.  The  flock  was  obtained  by  G.L.  Fulloon  on  the  dissolution  of  the  partnership  of  Fulloon  Bros,  the  former  later  taking  his  wife  into  partnership.  In  1949,  2  rams  were  purchased  from  MERRYVILLE,  F.  No.  56,  1  in  1951,  1  in  1953,  and  3  in  1954.  Following  the  death  of  G.L.  Fulloon  in  1978,  the  family  formed  a  partnership,  trading  as  Cressbrook  Partnership.
