History
This  stud  was  founded  in  August,  1960,  by  W.G.  Peskett  and  his  son,  W.J.  Peskett,  by  the  selection  of  110  ewes  from  the  HILL  VIEW  flock  and  the  purchase  of  a  ram  from  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48.  The  selected  ewes  were  progeny  of  the  sheep  from  KUDNAPPA,  F.  No.  753,  which  were  originally  registered  in  the  name  of  W.  Peskett  Snr,  the  registration  being  discontinued  in  1940.  Since  that  date,  only  HADDON  RIG,  F.  No.  48,  rams  have  been  used  in  the  flock.  In  1978,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  Mrs.  K.  H.  Peskett  and  W.J.  Peskett.  In  1981,  with  the  passing  of  Mrs.  K.  H.  Peskett,  John  (son  of  W.J.  Peskett)  came  into  the  stud  as  a  partner,  being  the  fourth  generation.  With  the  passing  of  W.J.  Peskett,  John  Peskett  took  on  full  ownership  of  the  stud.
