History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1929  by  C.  Crichton  and  Co  by  the  purchase  of  288  in-lamb  ewes  from  BUNDEMAR  (GENERAL),  NSW,  F.  No.  12.  In  1938,  the  partnership  of  C.  Crichton  and  Co  was  dissolved  following  which  the  property  was  divided  into  three  parts,  one  of  which,  together  with  all  the  stud  sheep,  was  retained  by  C.  and  W.P.  Crichton.  In  December  1978,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  H.  Roxburgh,  the  nephew  of  C.  and  W.P.  Crichton,  trading  as  Roxburgh  and  Co.  In  January  1980,  the  stud  name  was  changed  from  GLAISNOCK  to  CLEAR  CREEK.
