This  stud  was  founded  in  August,  1960,  by  B.J.,  J.R.  and  James  Lee  when  50  ewes  were  purchased  from  Brinsley,  NSW.  These  ewes  had  previously  been  sold  from  CLAREMONT,  F.  No.  511,  when  the  original  stud,  which  had  been  founded  in  1919,  was  dispersed  in  1956  (for  full  history  see  Volume  XXX111).  A  further  purchase  of  2  rams  and  91  ewes  were  made  in  1960  from  WONGA,  NSW,  F.  No.  794.  The  name  of  the  partnership  was  changed  to  Lee  and  Co.  on  1st  January,  1963.  Resigned  December  2011.
