This  stud  was  founded  in  1892  when  a  draft  of  about  400  rams  was  purchased  for  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.  12,  flock  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84,  and  joined  with  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.  12,  ewes  of  that  period.  No  authentic  record  of  the  breeding  of  these  ewes  exists.  In  the  late  nineties  a  further  draft  of  rams  was  purchased  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84.  About  1912,  the  formation  of  the  BUNDEMAR  (GENERAL),  F.  No.  12,  stud  began  with  descendants  of  the  above-mentioned  ewes  and  rams,  together  with  progeny  of  ewes  and  rams  purchased  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84.  Since  1892,  no  rams  except  those  purchased  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84,  and  those  bred  on  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.  11,  and  BUNDEMAR  (GENERAL),  F.  No.  12,  have  been  used  with  these  ewes.  Approximately  4000  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.12,  (WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84,  blood)  ewes  have  been  classed  into  the  General  stud  since  its  formation.  Prior  to  1912,  a  similar  number  was  classed  into  the  ewes  which  constituted  the  General  stud.  The  flock  was  acquired  by  F.E.  Body  from  J.  Penser,  BUNDEMAR,  Trangie,  NSW,  and  has  been  in  this  family  ownership  since  1883.  After  the  death  of  F.E.  Body  in  1906,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors  and  then  by  a  family  partnership.  On  7th  September  1973,  the  stud  was  sold  by  the  estate  of  F.E.Body  and  was  acquired  by  Frank  R.  Wolstenholme  Pty  Ltd,  together  with  portion  of  the  original  BUNDEMAR  property.  In  November  1978,  the  complete  stud  and  a  major  portion  of  the  BUNDEMAR  property  were  purchased  by  Alcoota  Pty  Ltd,  which  later  changed  its  name  to  Bundemar  Pastoral  Co.  The  latter  continued  the  registration.  In  February  1981,  the  stud  was  purchased  by  J.T.  Vickery  and  family  and  moved  to  Dobikin,  Bellata,  NSW.  In  1995,  DOBIKIN,  F.  No.  2598,  was  discontinued  and  490  ewes  transferred  to  BUNDEMAR  (GENERAL).  In  1999,  the  stud  registration  was  cancelled  and  250  ewes  were  transferred  to  BUNDEMAR,  F.  No.11.  Resigned  7/4/2000.
