This  stud  was  founded  in  1901  when  F.E.  Body  purchased  27  rams  and  1700  ewes  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  NSW,  F.  No.  84.  Rams  were  purchased  in  1902  from  WANGANELLA  ESTATE,  F.  No.  84.  In  1916,  1  ram  was  purchased  from  WANGANELLA,  F.  No.  83,  in  partnership  with  Eli  Elwah,  NSW,  and  used  for  1  year  in  the  stud.  The  Buttabone  homestead  and  portion  of  the  holding  was  purchased  in  1922  and  since  that  date  has  been  used  in  conjunction  with  BUNDEMAR.  After  the  death  of  F.E.  Body  in  1906,  the  stud  was  carried  on  by  his  executors  and  then  by  a  family  partnership.  On  7th  September  1973,  the  stud  was  sold  by  the  Estate  of  F.E.  Body  and  was  acquired  by  Frank  R.  Wolstenholme,  together  with  portion  of  the  original  BUNDEMAR  property.  In  November  1978,  the  complete  stud  and  a  major  portion  of  the  BUNDEMAR  property  were  purchased  by  Alcoota  Pty  Ltd,  which  later  changed  its  name  to  Bundemar  Pastoral  Co.  The  latter  continued  the  registration.  In  February  1981,  the  stud  was  purchased  by  J.T.  Vickery  and  family  and  moved  to  Dobikin,  Bellata,  NSW.  In  May  2008,  the  stud,  consisting  of  5  rams,  44  ram  lambs,  376  ewes  and  83  ewe  lambs,  was  purchased  by  T.J.  &  K.E.  Kirk,  trading  as  Bundemar,  and  moved  from  Bellata  to  Condobolin.  On  4  December  2019  the  stud  relocated  to  Baldry.
