This  stud  was  founded  in  December,  1960,  by  John  L.  Lawrence  and  his  sons,  P.J.  and  S.J.  Lawrence,  by  the  purchase  of  6  rams  and  208  ewes  with  60  ewe  lambs  at  foot,  from  MERRIBEE,  NSW,  F.  No.  54.  In  1986,  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  P.J.,  A.M.,  S.J.  &  L.A.  Lawrence  trading  as  Brookfield  Partnership.  Resigned  31/12/2002.
