History
This  stud  was  founded  in  January,  1978,  by  K.W.  and  I.R.  McGrath  by  the  purchase  of  302  ewes  from  WIRROOLGA,  NSW,  F.  No.  776.  A  ram  was  purchased  in  February  1978  from  WONGA,  NSW,  F.  No.  794,  and  a  further  138  ewes  were  bought  from  PEMCAW  in  August  of  the  same  year.  In  1981,  I.R.  McGrath  withdrew  from  the  partnership  and  the  stud  was  taken  over  by  K.W.  McGrath.  In  2002  the  trading  name  changed  to  K.W.  &  L.M.  McGrath.  At  the  end  of  June  2011,  the  trading  name  changed  to  K.W.  McGrath.
