This  stud  was  founded  about  1931  by  G.  Constance  when  140  ewes  were  selected  from  the  flock.  In  that  year  the  ewes  were  mated  with  rams  from  BIBBENLUKE,  NSW,  F.  No.  454.  No  other  rams  have  been  since  introduced.  The  BIBENDALE  flock  was  founded  about  90  years  previously,  rams  used  being  from  UARDRY,  F.  No.  79,  FAIRLIE  GRANGE,  F.  No.  37,  and  DALKEITH,  F.  No.  29.  G.  Constance  died  in  1937  and  the  stud  was  transferred  to  his  son,  O.H.  Constance.  In  1959,  the  latter  died  and  the  stud  became  the  property  of  his  son,  G.  Constance.  Resigned  December  2006.
