History
This  stud  was  founded  in  November,  1956,  at  Maldon,  Vic,  by  H.M.  Barty  and  his  sons,  E.J.  and  J.McR.  Barty,  by  the  purchase  of  14  ewes  from  COLIBAN  PARK,  Vic,  F.  No.  2406,  and  1  ram  from  WINTON,  Tas,  F.  No.  Tas.  1.  In  1958,  89  ewes  were  transferred  from  the  flock.  This  had  been  commenced  about  1946  with  COLIBAN  PARK,  F.  No.  2406,  ewes.  Rams  of  the  same  breeding  and  the  ram  purchased  from  WINTON  in  1954  were  used  in  the  flock.  The  stud  was  moved  to  Redesdale  in  1969.
