This  stud  was  founded  in  1956  by  B.J.  Byrne  when  a  ram  was  purchased  from  GLENCOE,  Vic,  Poll  F.  No.  24,  and  mated  with  50  ewes  from  BANOCRE,  F.  No.  1740.  The  sheep  from  this  mating  were  run  in  conjunction  with  the  parent  stud  until  1972  when  this  stud  was  formed  separately.  Rams,  as  listed  in  the  additions  from  other  flocks  in  F.  No.1740,  were  used  with  the  poll  sheep  whilst  a  ram  was  purchased  in  1971  from  OLD  COBRAN,  NSW,  Poll  F.  No.  32.  In  1981,  B.J.  Byrne  took  his  son,  J.D.  Byrne,  into  partnership.  In  1984,  J.D.  Byrne  withdrew  from  this  partnership  and  Andrew  A.  Byrne  was  taken  into  the  partnership,  now  trading  as  B.J.  and  A.A.  Byrne.  In  1994,  A.A.  Bryne  took  over  the  partnership.  In  1997,  on  the  dispersion  of  BANOCRE,  F.  No.  1740,  60  ewes  were  transferred  into  this  stud.  In  April  2005,  the  stud  relocated  from  Durham  Ox,  Victoria,  to  Emmaville,  NSW,  with  the  owners  Andrew  Alexius  Byrne  &  Genevieve  Mary  Byrne,  trading  as  A.A.  &  G.M.  Byrne.  In  2010,  Andrew  Byrne  became  the  sole  owner,  trading  as  A.A.  Byrne.  Resigned  December  2010.
