This  stud  was  founded  in  1938  by  Norman  M.  Dunn  when  50  ewes  were  selected  from  the  AVONDALE  flock  which  was  started  in  1932  by  W.  Dunn  with  WOODHOUSE  and  BLACKWOOD  blood  ewes  and  rams  from  Mr.  J.  Griffin,  Glenlea,  Dinkeld,  Vic.  Further  rams  were  obtained  from  GLENLEA  prior  to  and  immediately  following  the  commencement  of  the  stud.  On  the  death  of  W.  Dunn  in  1933,  the  flock  was  taken  over  by  N.M.Dunn.  In  1978,  N.M.  Dunn  took  his  son,  K.W.  Dunn,  into  partnership.  Resigned  January  2009.
