History
This  stud  was  founded  in  March,  1949,  by  E.H.  Woods,  trading  as  E.H.  Woods  &  Co,  by  the  purchase  of  38  ewes  and  1  ram  from  POOGINOOK,  F.  No.  788.  This  stud  is  part  of  the  original  MURRA  stud,  F.  No.  1502.  It  was  re-registered  in  1989  under  the  name  of  ALLENDALE.  All  breeding  ewes  were  kept  separate  and  used  for  the  breeding  of  flock  rams  for  the  ALLENDALE  property.  280  ewes  were  passed  by  official  inspection.  In  October  2001  the  stud  was  purchased  by  Anthony  Elwin  &  Penelope  Jane  Inder,  trading  as  A.E.  &  P.J.  Inder  and  moved  from  Tomingley  to  Goolma.
