History
This  stud  was  founded  in  1953  by  F.J.  Stagg  by  the  purchase  of  199  in-lamb  ewes  from  EGELABRA,  NSW,  F.  No.  32.  In  1954,  Mrs  L.I.  Stagg  was  taken  into  partnership  and  100  ewes,  which  she  had  purchased  from  EGELABRA  in  1953,  were  added  to  the  stud.  In  February  1986  the  stud  was  transferred  to  Reg  &  Pam  Power,  trading  as  R.L.  &  P.D.  Power.  In  August  2009,  the  stud  ownership  was  transferred  to  their  son,  Murray  Power,  trading  as  Iona  Partnership  and  moved  from  Warialda  to  Walcha.
